Strengthening Cooperation – Striving for Innovation

On February 3, 2025 a meeting was organized at Yangiyol City Polytechnic College N. 2, led by "Professional Education" department, with the participation of Ilkhom Abduraimovich Begmatov, Head of "Irrigation and Melioration" department, and Ilkhom Makhmudovich Roziev, Head of "Hydrology and Hydrogeology" department. This meeting was held to ensure the implementation of the Presidential Decree "On Improving the System of Training Qualified Specialists in Vocational Education and Introducing International Educational Programs" (PD-158, dated October 16, 2024).
The primary goal of the meeting was to discuss the opening of new directions and the invitation of specialists from higher education institutions (HEIs). Such meetings are crucial for expanding students' employment opportunities and promoting the development of new educational areas and prestigious professions. During this process, cooperation between technical colleges and departments plays a vital role.
The establishment of dual education systems at technical colleges and inviting higher education specialists to deliver lectures holds significant importance in providing students with new knowledge and skills. The meeting discussed the necessary steps to strengthen cooperation in these new directions.
Additionally, key issues were analyzed regarding enhancing cooperation between departments and technical colleges, including:
- Lectures and practical training: Organizing practical classes in Irrigation and Melioration, Hydrometeorology, providing students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
- Collaboration with local specialists: Working directly with specialists in water management, hydrologists, and ecologists to study local solutions to existing issues.
- Expanding cooperation: Learning from international experience and developing international standards in these fields.
The organization of research, training, and professional development courses in such areas is also important for benefiting students and providing them with effective learning experiences.
