“Dual Education, "win-win" model for students, universities and industry”: Online webinar with Prof. Dr. Monica Pogatsnik from Obuda University, Hungary

   On January 29, 2025 the online webinar on the topic “Dual Education, "win-win" model for students, universities and industry” was organized with Prof. Dr. Monica Pogatsnik from Obuda University, Hungary at “Economics” Faculty of "TIIAME" National Research University.

  The event took place in Turon Bank hall of the faculty with the participation from undergraduate,  graduate students and researchers from “Economics” Faculty. It was also held in Room 226 of “Professional Development Center” faculty branch of British Council, with the participation of the talented students of “Land Resources and Cadastre” Faculty. Several students from Higher Education Institutions in the capital also participated in the event.

  The event was organized based on proposals from students and was initiated by the Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs of the “Economics” Ffaculty, Umrzoq Kholyorov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of “Land Resources and Cadastre” Faculty, Sanjar Khikmatullayev; tutor Maftuna Turg'unova and Associate Professor of “English Language” department, Guzal Eshchanova.

  During the event, Prof. Dr. Monica Pogatsnik highlighted the advantages of Dual Education implemented at Obuda University in Hungary, including the Moodle platform for Dual Education, the special Dual website and the establishment of the Dual Training Office. She noted that this model has been enthusiastically accepted by students year by year, emphasizing that students working in industrial enterprises related to their fields of study are benefiting greatly from dual education.

  Additionally, during the webinar there were discussed the issues regardig studying at Obuda University in Hungary, available undergraduate and graduate programs, the increasing number of international students each year and the benefits of studying in Hungary, which is considered the heart of Europe. 

   The online webinar was very interesting and supportive, as everyone received the important information relating Dual Education. The participants also received detailed answers to their questions.

  We believe that international webinars like this, organized in such a friendly environment, help motivate students to improve their English skills, open doors to visiting foreign countries, studying abroad, working, participating in diferent competitions and developing their own abilities.
