Career Guidance for Students Starts at School

On January 29, 2025 professors, teachers, and doctoral students of "Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics" department visited general education schools N. 13 and N. 73 in Nurafshon city, Tashkent region, which are under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Education. They held a roundtable discussion with students as part of the scheduled roadmap.
During the roundtable, the importance of career guidance for senior students, encouraging interest in reading, and the need to prepare for additional subjects during free time were emphasized. Students were also advised on the necessity of mastering foreign languages. Information was provided about the university's ranking in the world's most prestigious rankings, its current achievements, the faculties and educational programs it offers, as well as its modern educational and scientific laboratories and other available resources.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions, which were answered by the department’s professors and teachers. A quiz with interesting test questions was organized for the students. The winning students of the competitions were awarded souvenir prizes. It was emphasized to the school leaders that in the near future, it is necessary to organize an excursion for the students to visit our university.
