On January 24-25, 2025 as part of the "Universiade-2025" program, the national wrestling qualifying round was held under the slogan “Wrestling - My Pride, My Honor” at the university sports complex. The competition featured weight categories of 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, and +100 kg among students and young people.
The winners of the competition were determined as follows:
- 60 kg: Fayozbek Otabullayev, 1st-year student
- 66 kg: Iskandar Umirzoqov, 1st-year student
- 73 kg: Shohjahon Pardaboyev, 4th-year student
- 81 kg: Alikhonto‘ra Umarov, 2nd-year student
- 90 kg: Shoyadbek Abdulatipov, 2nd-year student
- +100 kg: Davlat Mukhiddinov, 3rd-year student
After the exciting and intense competition, the members of the “Irrigator” team were identified and earned the opportunity to participate in the Tashkent city level competition!
