Motherland honors courage

On December 29, 1993, by the decision of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, January 14 was designated as "The day of Motherland Defenders." Due to that, on January 9, 2025, the first-year students of 107-group of "Hydromelioration" faculty organized a trip to the "Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
Defending the Motherland and protecting it is the duty of every citizen of the country. Defender of the Motherland is a celebration not only for military personnel but also for fellow citizens who have served in the army and for the thousands of young men who will serve in the future.
Our Motherland has always been proud of its brave and courageous sons. The museum is located in a park named "Courage," with a statue of a soldier holding a weapon in front of the building, inscribed with the words "To the Defender of the Motherland." In order to honor our fellow citizens, university students, and the younger generation, along with the students of the "Yuksalish" private school, visited the museum and viewed the exhibits.
