On September 19-21, a Training Seminar on "Ensuring Energy Savings and Efficient Use of Electricity, as well as Expanding the Use of Renewable Energy Sources" was Held
The seminar was initiated by the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, a National Research University, to address identified issues in various regions on-site and enhance the qualifications of local specialists.
The event brought together 60 industry specialists from major production enterprises and substations located in the cities of Angren and Nurafshon, as well as Ohangaron district of Tashkent region.
During the seminar, highly qualified university professors delivered lectures on the following topics:
✔️ Utilizing renewable energy sources in electricity consumption;
✔️ Challenges in managing frequency within power supply systems;
✔️ Enhancing the efficiency of electrical equipment operation and eliminating existing shortcomings;
✔️ Reducing energy losses in electrical grids by compensating reactive power;
✔️ Integrating renewable energy sources into electrical distribution systems;
✔️ Existing issues and solutions for using small hydropower plants in Uzbekistan;
✔️ Proper selection of cables and automatics in low and high voltage power transmission networks.
On the third day of the seminar, practical exercises were conducted directly in the regions of Angren and Ohangaron. These exercises focused on ensuring energy savings, promoting efficient use of electricity, and expanding the use of renewable energy sources.
