"There is No Better Friend than a Book"

On November 20, 2024, the Faculty of "Agricultural Mechanization" at "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University held a "Reading" competition among its students. As the great French writer Victor Hugo once said, "There is no better friend than a book." In this regard, it is important to engage today's youth with books, as reading encourages thinking, analyzing ideas, and engaging in an inner dialogue—sometimes even reaching a consensus with one's own thoughts. Understanding the depth of this idea, active student readers from the "Mechanization of Agriculture" faculty, in collaboration with the Youth Union, organized an event based on a discussion of Gafur Gulom's work "Shum Bola".
