"We Are Against Corruption"

On November 20, 2024 a round-table discussion under the slogan "We Are Against Corruption" was held at “Toshkent Irrigation and Agricultural Engineering Institute” National Research University in collaboration with the “Compliance Control” department and the “Agricultural Mechanization” faculty, with the participation of first-year students.
A.Borotov, the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs at the “Agricultural Mechanization” faculty, spoke about the serious consequences of corruption. He emphasized that corruption harms every sector of state and society, slowing development, weakening the state from within, leading to the impoverishment of the people, and causing violations of rights and interests. He highlighted that combating corruption has become one of the most pressing global issues. He also informed the students that Uzbekistan has established all necessary legal foundations for the fight against corruption, stressing that vigilance and responsibility from every citizen are essential in this effort. At the end of the discussion, the students had the opportunity to ask questions, which were answered by the speakers.
