On November 9, 2024 a round-table discussion was organized with Dilfuza Yuldasheva, a professor from Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Germany), for the female students of the "Hydrotechnical Construction" faculty residing in Dormitory N. 1 of the "TIIAME" National Research University.

The event was organized with the initiative of Associate Professor Guzal Eshchanova from the Department of English Language, Professor Farida Yunusova, the Chair of the Women's Committee at the "Hydrotechnical Construction" faculty, and faculty tutor Dilafruz Khursandova.

The roundtable talk provided an opportunity for students to engage with Professor Yuldasheva and discuss topics related to international education, gender equality in academia, and the professional development opportunities available to women in the field of sustainable development.

At the beginning of the roundtable discussion, it was highlighted that female students of "TIIAME" National Research University have been participating in the *VEGERA* project, funded by the International Climate Initiative Grant of Germany. It was also noted that representatives from Germany's Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development have been involved in this grant project, including Dilfuza Yuldasheva, who visited Uzbekistan to carry out several tasks related to the project.

The meeting was actively attended by N.1 educator and pedagogue Turaqulova Nurkhon, as well as female students from the "Hydrotechnical Construction" faculty. The discussion covered different topics, such as studying and working abroad, conducting scientific research, living conditions in Germany, obtaining international language certificates, reading more books during free time, and comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences in the educational processes.

The conversation sparked long debates and discussions among the students about the opportunities and challenges of studying abroad.

We believe that such round-table discussions will help our female students in the future to determine their career paths, become skilled professionals, and assist them in planning their education and work abroad, ultimately contributing to their success in achieving great accomplishments.
