Rectors' Forum held in the People's Republic of China

It is important to suggest that more than 30 years have passed since the establishment of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. In the following years, the strategic partnership relations have risen to a high level, and bilateral relations are developing rapidly.
Relations between the two countries in the field of higher education are also developing every year. Currently, more than eight thousand young people from Uzbekistan are studying at Higher Educational Institutions of China. Scientific and cultural ties are also expanding.
In order to further expand the cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, especially in the field of higher education, on September 19-24, 2024, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of "TIIAME" National Research University Shokirov Shukhrat Sobirovich took part in the forum of rectors of higher educational institutions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, organized at the Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry of the People's Republic of China. The 90th anniversary of the university was also widely celebrated within the framework of the forum.
During the organized events, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Shokirov Shukhrat Sobirovich addressed the audience with a report on scientific and pedagogical activities, international cooperation, results achieved in recent years and plans for further cooperation of 'TIIAME" National Research University".
