Khan Atlas is our national pride

Khan-satin
is one of our fabrics with a centuries-old history. This clothing reminds us of
our identity and our mortherland Uzbekistan, dresses made of which give
our women and girls a special charm, beauty and beauty.
For
this reason, the "Family and Women's Committee" decided to express in
our national costumes the thousand-year past, customs and traditions of our
people, tastes, aesthetic views, as well as our own characteristics in order to
enrich our national clothing, values, holding the Atlas festival has become a
tradition. On September 10, 2024, Advisor to the Dean of the of “Hydrotechnical
Construction” Faculty. “TIIAME” National
Research University, Prof. F. Yunusova,
Head of the Faculty D. Khursandova, Teacher N. Torakulov, organized the event
at Students Dormitory under the slogan "Khon Atlasim is my pride"
together with university psychologist M.K. Mukhammedova, who was invited to the
festival as a guest. All the girls living in the student dormitory took part in
the cultural and educational event organized within the framework of this
festival. During the interaction at the event, they talked about preserving the
atlas, which is considered part of our national values and the culture of Uzbek
clothing. The participants got acquainted with the process of sewing clothes
from fabrics, received a comprehensive understanding of the atlas and adras,
enriched their knowledge of our national values and traditions. We believe
that such events are important for nurturing a sense of national pride in the
hearts of our girls, instilling respect and attention to ancient customs and
traditions, forming and widely promoting the features of Uzbek taste and
elegance inherent in our mothers.
