Group of Higher Education Reform Experts is in Finland

On September 3-4, 2024, a group of Higher
Education reform experts participates in an experience sharing seminar-training
at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland, on "Enhancing
University-Industry Collaboration for current and future Employment,
Innovation, and Sustainable Ecosystems." Among them, Ilkhom Abdurakhmanov,
Associate Professor “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” Department, Head of the “International
Ranking Activity Monitoring” Department at “TIIAME” National Research
University.
The main goal of the trip is to study best
practices, exchange knowledge and get acquainted with higher education
management, foreign experts in higher education reform, exchange experience and
cooperation, as well as strengthen cooperation between the university and
industry.
During the event, the experts got acquainted
with the experience of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) in the
following topics:
- research, development,
innovation and cooperation with the private sector;
- cooperation with the city
administration;
- cooperation with
manufacturing organizations and private companies and their impact;
- sustainable production
ecosystem;
- advanced training abroad and
in Finland;
- commercialization of
existing laboratories and research;
- pedagogical abilities and
competencies;
- cooperation with
manufacturing organizations in developing curricula;
- organization of advanced
training courses;
- system of work with
graduates;
- social obligations: value
and reputation.
