The reliability of field research method for obtaining scientific data

Young researchers of “TIIAME” National
Research University, doctoral students Sardor Gulomov and Madina Karimova,
within the framework of the research project "SusWEF"
"Sustainable water-saving irrigation technologies for achieving water,
energy and food security in the context of climate change in Uzbekistan"
and their dissertation programs, conduct field research on pilot sites.
On August 2, 2024, Prof. M. Avlakulov,
Prof. A. Khamidov and Assoc. Prof. Zh. Ishchanov made a visit to the farms of "Shodi
ugli Salim" and "Sharapov Yusuf" located in Karshi district,
where field research was being conducted, tested the obtained data.
The main objective of the research is to
determine the optimal parameters of the irrigation equipment elements of the
drip irrigation technology of cotton on saline and non-saline soils, as well as
to determine the timing and rates of application of the BioProFito
biostimulator in order to increase the efficiency of drip irrigation technology
of cotton on saline soils.
The project partners are scientists from the
German Center for Agrolandscape Research of the Leibniz Association (ZALF). The
project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany
(BMBF). The head of the project, prof. A. Khamidov, after having visited the
experimental fields, gave his scientific advice and recommendations on limiting
water consumption in the fields to achieve better scientific results.
