Visit to water facilities

On August
10, the "TIIAME" National Research
University within the framework
of the Erasmus + HWCA
project, held an important
practical event “Visiting
unique water management facilities", included in
the program of International Training organized
for faculty
members of higher educational institutions and industry
specialists of Central
Asian countries and the Summer
School for Doctoral
Students. During this
event, visits of scientists,
experts and doctoral
students from Europe and
Central Asia to
unique water management complexes located
in the Chirchik River
basin were
organized, and the dialogue
continued using the example
of real structures. Organized
with the support of the Ministry of Water
Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
the Uzbek Hydroenergy Agency and the Syrdarya
Basin Organization
of the Interstate Coordinating
Water Commission,
visits to unique
water infrastructures
and reforms
in the field of water
management carried out in
Uzbekistan made a great
impression on the listeners
and participants
of the event. This event
was an important step
in ensuring
the effectiveness of the international training and
summer school on
water diplomacy.
