The meeting in the framework of “Cooperation Week with China”

The delegation led by Vice-Rector of Xinjiang Normal University of China, Prof. Chen Tongmade a visit to “TIIAME” National Research University. At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the university Prof.Bakhadir Mirzaev emphasized about this week offered good opportunity for the effective cooperation with the certain organizations of the Chinese state. The heads of the two universities provided information about the universities and exchanged ideas on the educational process, ongoing projects, research work of scientists and educational programs.
During the meeting, it was noted that Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in the field of education is developing very rapidly. In order to strengthen relations, there are plans to organize 3-6-monthly internships between teachers and professors of the two higher educational institutions, meet with teachers in person and exchange knowledge as well as organize joint projects and implement them.
Additionally, due to the development of the Law Education Program at Xinjiang Normal University in September, there was proposed a plan to accept two undergraduate students from “TIIAME”National Research University to China for a semester. The agreement was reached to formulate a memorandum of cooperation for the next meetings and establish official relations. "During the interview, I realized that “TIIAME” National Research University is among the leading universities in Uzbekistan. We will promote the development of the two countries by establishing and improving long-term cooperation ties with you. "I believe that we will strenthen the cooperation between two HEIs," suggested Chen Tong, vice-rector of Xinjiang Normal University of China.
