It is important to suggest that on March 25, 2023 at National Research University‘‘TIIAME” there was organized a meeting on the topic “Eco-friendly environment is guarranted with the New Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. It was attended by professors and teachers of the university, students and youth, representatives and activists of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan. The event was led by the rector of the university, professor Bakhodir Mirzaev.
At the meeting, information was provided on the content of the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the significance of the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan, scheduled for April 30, 2023. Chairman of the Executive Committee Abdushukur Khamzaev provided brief information about the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, who added that a separate chapter on environmental protection was included in the draft New Constitution as a necessary condition for improving the quality of life and health of population.

It must be mentioned that over the past three years, 15,000 appeals from residents expressed their dissatisfaction with the received construction, more than 200 construction projects were stopped by courts in Tashkent, the number of cars has increased by 1.3 million to 3.6 million that was the main reason of air pollution.

The updated Constitution is aimed at creating a strong parliament, a responsible government and fair judiciary in order to build a friendly state for citizens. Students received detailed answers to their questions. During the event the attendees were impressed with the speech made by A. Khamzaev, which was very supportive and full of facts.
