Environmental education collaborate with NGO

The National Research University of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers has been collaborating with non-governmental organizations to study climate change and combat its harmful consequences. In cooperation with non-governmental organizations, the university has been implementing various educational and scientific-practical projects.

Collaborations to improve the ecological situation in the Aral Sea region

The cooperation between the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) and the World Aral Region Charity (WARC) (https://www.aralregioncharity.org/) is focused on addressing environmental issues and engaging youth. As part of this partnership, a forum was held in Tashkent to mark the conclusion of the program. WARC organized this event jointly with TIIAME and plans to continue collaborative initiatives in the future.

Other collaborations in addressing environmental issues

The collaboration between Nazar Business and Technology LLC (NBT) (https://nbt.uz/) and the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) is actively developing in the fields of education and scientific research. NBT specialists regularly conduct master classes and seminars at TIIAME, helping students enhance their practical knowledge and skills.

Additionally, there is good news regarding the ongoing collaboration and experience exchange between NBT and TIIAME. Specifically, projects are being implemented in partnership with TIIAME's "Ecology and Law" faculty. Faculty members and students actively participate in NBT projects.

Collaborations in preparing educational materials for learning

As part of the USAID Regional Water and Environment Project, the NBT team, in collaboration with NRU "TIIAME" faculty, published a book titled "Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of Water Management Facilities."

This book is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, staff of the State Environmental Expertise under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, and outlines methodologies for implementing EIA in projects related to the environment and water management facilities, including those supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
