Waste recycling program of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers"

National Research University "TIIAME" has adopted a program for the collection of organic and non-organic waste for further processing.

The university has placed special separating waste bins for collecting waste of 4 categories (Metal waste, paper waste, glass and plastic waste). In the future, these wastes will be disposed of or used in the scientific laboratories of university scientists for scientific work on optimizing the recycling process.

NRU "TIIAME" conducts a waste recycling program in two directions 1-direction is the recycling of everyday university waste 2-direction is the recycling of electrical and household waste such as LED lamps and office equipment.

Waste processing is carried out by special companies on the basis of agreements drawn up between companies and the university.

Recycling Program for University Waste (“TIIAME” NRU) (TEMIR – IRON, QOG‘OZ – PAPER, SHISHA – GLASS, PLASTIK – PLASTIC)

Description:

Organic waste generated at the university is recycled by the district improvement department and partially by the Mahsustrans DUK, allowing students and faculty to easily determine what they can and cannot recycle.

Toxic Waste Treatment

Description:

An electronic document exchange system has been established at the university, which in turn drastically reduces the use of paper and printers in the area. Also, instead of the previously used fluorescent lamps, energy-saving LED lamps are widely used in the university lighting system. As a result of this, very little waste, which is dangerous for human health and the environment, comes out of the university territory. The generated hazardous waste is also neutralized in the university's Chemistry Laboratory.
