On June 6, 2023, a delegation led by Huawei Wang Shunli, Vice President for the Middle East and Central Asia,  Zhang Liwei, Suli Ailiti, the company's regional manager for government relations and Lobar Mirzaeva, a public relations manager for Uzbekistan universities made a visit to the National Research University "TIIAME". The rector of the university Professor Mirzaev B.S., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Khudoyorov B.A. and Head of the Department of “Monitoring the International Ranking” I.Abdurakhmonov,  took part in the meeting held together with guests. During the meeting, the rector of the university prof. Mirzaev B.S. provided guests with the detailed information about the university and spoke about plans for the future. The planned work on the full digitalization of the university in cooperation with Huawei was also discussed in detail, including the provision of all university buildings with Wi-Fi zone. HUAWEI representatives provided detailed information about the ICT Academy. At the Academy of ICT courses, teachers selected from the university will be able to study information technology and then transfer their knowledge to students in the teaching and learning process. Students who successfully pass ICT Academy exam will have the opportunity to receive an international certificate and work not only in Uzbekistan, but also in international organizations.
