Teaching international students has begun since 1956 at our institute, therefore it has its long-term history. The Department of Teaching Russian as a Forein Language was founded in 1976, because lots of foreign students who wanted to study at universities didn’t khow Russian. More than 100 students from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the USA and Europe studied Russian Language and other subjects for one year before they continued their education at Agrarian Universities of the Soviet Union. The Department was reorganized into The Study Courses for Foreigners (SCF) in 1999. Nowadays Courses have many years of experience in teaching Russian and Uzbek languages to international students and enroll a lot of people from China, South Korea, Turkey, Algeria, Syria, Iran, Norway, the USA, Peru and Saudi Arabia every year. During the last few years (2013-2016) 24 of our graduates have entered the universities of our country and the UIS.
