The purpose of the project: the introduction of an integrated automated drip irrigation system using renewable energy sources, which will ensure the conservation of energy and water resources, timely and efficient irrigation in agriculture. As a result, additional land development will be possible, yields will increase, labor costs will decrease, which will reduce poverty and increase the income of the rural population, as well as ensure the sustainability of food security in the country/region.
Objects of implementation: the project will be implemented in orchards of water consumers in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, ukhara, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Khorezm, and Surkhandarya regions. In the future, the project will be implemented on all horticultural farms of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in the states of Central Asia.
The objects of project implementation were selected with the help of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional basin administrations of irrigation systems and district irrigation administrations.
