From May 29 to July 1,2023 in cooperation with the ranking agency Times Higher Education, there was organized "Global Congress on Sustainable Development" in Tuwal, Saudi Arabia. The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia hosted the Congress, bringing together leaders and innovators to discuss solutions to the sustainability crisis. The representatives of more than 150 countries of the world took part in the congress. There were hot discussions about urgent solutions to sustainable development emergencies. the possibility of developing cooperation between international partners.

In order to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the congress there were  discussed the proposals and recommendations of leading universities to develop their education, research, innovation and outreach programs aimed at achieving concrete results. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of our university prof.B.A.Khudayarov, Head of the Department of “Monitoring the International Ranking” I.Abdurakhmonov, chief specialists Sh.Ismonov, A.Khamraliev took part in the international congress.
