“Marketing and practice of students” department

“Marketing and practice of students” department acts based on Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Law “On Education”, National Training Program, Resolutions and Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on providing the economy with qualified personnel, the current Labor Code, legislation and relevant regulations in the field of education.

The purpose of the “Marketing and practice of students” department

In order to develop and implement specific strategies for the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in the market of educational services, consumers (work employers) to guide and lead the process of fulfilling the requirements for the future specialist, to provide incentives for the planning and promotion of advertising and information, the implementation of the distribution and placement of graduates, as well as  timely preparation for the provision of educational services, the organization and control of the conclusion of cooperation agreements.

Organize, manage and oversee the activities of the Department of Marketing and practice of students

1. The department of "Marketing and practice of students" is headed by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.

2. The Department of Marketing and practice of students reports to the Academic Council of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers at least once a year.

3. The department of "Marketing and practice of students" provides the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education with relevant information on the implementation of the tasks assigned to it in the prescribed form and time.

 4. The activities of the Department of Marketing and practice of students are coordinated by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and supervised in the prescribed manner.

CAREER CENTER

 The purpose and objectives of the "Career Center"

  • Help students become competitive employees and improve their skills in their field;
  •  Training, retraining and employment of qualified specialists for various sectors of the economy;
  •  Organization of job fairs with the participation of enterprises, organizations and institutions;
  • Implement measures to increase students' interest in their professional activities;
  • Conducting interviews with graduate students about the current careers (careers) of former graduates.

Employers

  • Collaboration between enterprises, organizations and institutions and the institute;
  •  Creating a database of the needs of enterprises, organizations and institutions for new employees;
  • Arranging meetings for students with enterprises, organizations and institutions;
  • Organizing direct internships for graduate students;
  • Conducting interviews, seminars, lectures and other events for employers to share experiences with industry professionals;
  • Active participation of employers in Career Day fairs;
  • Send information about vacancies to the e-mail address of the institute.

Students

  • Have the skills to search for vacancies in the labor market;
  • Preparation of resumes for employment;
  • Interview with an employer.

Online resources

  • In cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, create an electronic database of vacancies in the field and cover it on the web portal of the institute on job advertisements;
  • Update the electronic database on a monthly basis and add new vacancies;
  • Creating a database of personnel requirements of enterprises, organizations and institutions;
  • Posting students' biographies on the work portal;
  • Send information about vacancies to emails of graduate students.

 



Chapter 1. General rules

1. This Regulation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On admission to higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the academic year 2005/2006" dated June 2, 2005 No. Decisions PQ-2360 dated June 23 and “On measures to introduce new management principles into the system of higher and secondary special education” No. PQ-4391 dated July 11, 2019 It was developed on the basis of Resolutions PQ-42 of December 10, 2021 “On measures to fundamentally improve the training system based on innovation and digitalization”.

2. “Tashkent University of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University (hereinafter - University) Department of Marketing and Student Practice (hereinafter - Department) Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and economic sectors of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan operates on the basis of documents on providing qualified personnel, documents of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and orders of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education.

 

Chapter 2. Goals and objectives of the department

3. Formation of a database based on the study of the needs of enterprises, institutions and organizations for highly educated personnel being trained at the university.

4. Assessment of the structure of consumers of educational services (employing enterprises, organizations with different forms of ownership - state and local government bodies, state and non-state organizations, etc.), including the ratio of supply and demand for graduates in undergraduate courses and master's specialties, geographical location creating a complete database by identifying and grouping, diagnosing potential opportunities.

5. To introduce the current issues related to improving the quality of trained personnel for discussion in the Councils of the University, to cooperate with the relevant departments of the University in this regard.

6. Training of personnel at the university and monitoring of job placement of graduates based on state grant.

7. Systematic analysis and evaluation of university graduate employment processes.

8. Support the development and improvement of market relations in the field of education, formation of a realistic “portfolio of orders” for graduating bachelors and masters based on indicators of demand for young professionals.

9. Directing the activities of the University to meet the real needs of republican institutions, enterprises and organizations for personnel.

10. To analyze the changes in the service market conjuncture that may lead to the emergence of competitive educational services for undergraduate courses and master's specialties in the republic's economy and social sector networks, and to prepare proposals for defining new development directions.

11. Taking into account the rapid change of the processes of marketing service at the university and the interrelationship with the dynamics of the labor market development, in cooperation with potential employers (consumers), to study the need for young professionals with higher education in the branches and sectors of the republic's economy by region.

12. Based on the requirements of the current and prospective development programs of the economic sectors and sectors, and the regions, first of all, to develop proposals for the establishment of training of highly educated personnel in new educational directions and specialties in the field of high and innovative technologies.

13. Establishing mutual cooperation and communication with organizations interested in the training of specialist personnel, including studying the opinions of the administration of the enterprise, organization or institution about the quality and potential of the personnel being trained.

14. Participates in the processes of preparation, adoption and implementation of management decisions regarding the directions of personnel training and the market of educational services at the university. Development of practical proposals for ensuring competitive personnel training and implementation of relevant measures.

15. Support the use of young professionals based on the demands and needs of personnel consumers.

16. Discussing the requirements of the customers regarding the quality of personnel in the process of personnel training in the University Council.

17. Ensuring the cooperation of specialized departments and consumer (customer) enterprises in personnel training.

18. Helping to organize internships of graduating students in enterprises and organizations where they can be employed later.

19. To provide the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education with information about the current year's graduates of the University in terms of educational directions (specializations), ministry, office (enterprises and organizations) and regions where they are sent to work.

20. Studying the labor market situation, formulating proposals for admission parameters based on the orders of consumers for graduates, submitting documents to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education in a timely manner on the organization of the University's database on admission, student contingent, and referral of graduates to work.

21. Distribution of graduates taking into account the recommendations and suggestions of consumers and specialist departments about young professionals.

22. Establishing cooperation relations and signing contracts with enterprises, institutions and organizations on the organization of student internships.

23. To ensure the organization of students' practice in enterprises, institutions and organizations suitable for the educational direction and specialty.

24. To study the processes of organization of students' practice in enterprises, institutions and organizations, analyze the results of the study, develop problems and proposals and present them to the University management.

25. To study advanced foreign and national experiences in organizing student practice and to prepare proposals for its implementation.

26. Preparation of analytical data on the organization of student practice.

27. Development of practical proposals for the organization of export of educational services and implementation of relevant measures.

Chapter 3. Department structure and financial support

28. The number of employees of the department is determined on the basis of the model staff of the University, and the leadership is carried out by the head. The staff list of department employees is approved by the rector in the prescribed manner.

29. Salaries (discharges) of department employees are approved in the amount of positions determined for the University, and according to the department's work results, an increase may be determined from budgetary and extra-budgetary funds in the manner determined by the rector.

Chapter 4. Organization, management and control of department activities

30. The department is directly subordinated to the Rector of the University.

31. The department reports on the results of its activities to the University Council at least once a year.

32. The department submits relevant information to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education in the prescribed forms and terms.

33. The department's activities are coordinated and controlled by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.

Chapter 5. Final rule

34. Termination or reorganization of the department shall be carried out in accordance with the procedure established by legislation.
