INFORMATION LETTER

On November 19-20, 2024, the reception of articles for the 6th traditional international scientific conference on Geoinformatics-GI 2024, which is scheduled to be held in Tashkent, began. This conference will be held on international GIS day with the theme "Sustainable geofascial solutions for a changing world" dedicated to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Peer-reviewed and accepted articles are published in journals indexed in the Scopus database. The main objectives of the conference include:establishing knowledge sharing and collaboration among researchers, scientists and practitioners in Geoinformatics;

  • establishing knowledge sharing and collaboration among researchers, scientists and practitioners in Geoinformatics;
  • demonstration of recent achievements, innovations and research results in Geoinformatics and related disciplines;
  • to create a platform to discuss current problems, trends and opportunities for the application of geofascial technologies;
  • fostering interdisciplinary research and collaboration in various fields, including environment, urban planning, agriculture, and Disaster Management;
  • development of international cooperation and network opportunities for researchers, higher education institutions and production organizations;
  • contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable geofascial solutions to solve global problems and social needs;
  • support capacity building and skills development of students, researchers and professionals in the field of Geoinformatics;
  • promote the integration of geofascial technologies into decision-making processes for information policy development and resource management;
  • raising awareness of the importance of Geoinformatics in solving pressing environmental, social and economic problems;

The conference jury receives written scientific articles on the topics of the above Conference. The conference can be attended with a presentation (presentation) or poster of a scientific article. Peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed, and Conference-accepted English-language scientific papers are published in the journal “E3S Web of Conferences”, indexed in the SCOPUS database. We invite those who want to participate in the conference to submit their scientific articles for poster or presentation (presentation). The Scientific Council of the conference selects the participants ' scientific articles by review and recommends them for presentation.

Please follow the basic instructions below when preparing the article:

Authors must prepare their articles using the following Microsoft Word template:

The conference should not be presented by a single author with more than two articles. This includes articles that they co-authored.

Article format

    • The article should not contain page numbers.
    • The text is prepared not in two intervals, but in one interval.
    • All fonts are duly ordered.
    • All pages must be in a vertical (bookstore) position (horizontal/landscape pages must be rotated).
    • The text of the article should retreat at a distance of 25 mm from the left edge, and there should be 10 mm of free space after the abstract before starting the main text of your article from one page with a thesis.

Article content

    • The article includes author(s)i and organization(s) name (s) (full address, including country).
    • All articles must contain annotation.
    • All numbers and tables must be numbered in the correct order. Please make sure that the image/table numbers are not duplicated or skipped.
    • The images should be clear enough to be read and placed inside the text, the text is not placed like an app at the end.
    • If section headers are numbered, make sure they are numbered numerically and make sure no numbers are duplicated or missing.
    • The equations shown must follow naming rules, i.e. (1), (2), (3) and so on by sections, i.e. (1.1), (1.2), etc. Each shown equation has its own number and none has been repeated and make sure all are available.
    • The accuracy of the list of literature used is checked. References can only be linked via CrossRef if correct and complete.
    • If literature is numbered (Harvard system), each literature has its own number, and no number is repeated or lost.
    • Make sure that all links are quoted in the text and that all quotes have a corresponding link.The main thing is to make sure that the article is fully checked according to the English standard and to ensure that the text is clear and concise.To determine each section, draw up an article using: introduction, purpose, methods, results and Conclusion.

Originality

The articles presented should be the work of the authors, expressed in their own words. Plagiarism is calculated from using other people's ideas without a link, copying parts of text from other sources (without sufficient attribution or co-authorship), and providing a complete article under "new" authorship. Articles with similarity rates above 30% are rejected.

REVIEW PROCESS

After the review, articles received and presented at the conference are sent to the International Journal of materials for publication.

The organizing committee sends each article to an independent reviewer, an appropriate expert on the topic of the article.

Thus, each article is evaluated by an independent expert according to the following criteria:

  1. Association with conference directions.
  2. Scientific-technical originality, potential impact and interest to readers.
  3. Scientific and technical content, novelty and significance.
  4. Quality of presentation, clarity of content.
  5. Reviews for all authors are given by reviewers.
  6. Reviewers indicate familiarity with the topic of the article, evaluating the article according to the above criteria. The organizing committee decides which articles are accepted. But the final decision is made by the publisher.

The presented articles are checked in a special plagiarism program, and any ethical violation is seriously considered. Articles with similarity rates above 30% are rejected.

ORGANIZATIONAL FEE

 

The organizational fee for students includes publishing one article in the journal. In this case, all authors are required to be BSc/MSc and/or PhD students.
