  On May 16, 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued Order No. 186 "On the Introduction of the "Social Activity Index" of Students in Higher Educational Organizations".

  According to the first criterion of the "Social Activity Index" - "Reading Culture", students are assessed on the following books on a maximum 20-point system out of 100 test questions:

  1. Silence (Said Ahmad)
  2. "Gold Does Not Rust" (Shuhrat)
  3. "Starry Nights" (Pirimkul Kadyrov)
  4. "Days Gone By" (Abdulla Qodiriy)
  5. "Night and Day" (Abdulhamid Cholpon)
  6. "Between Two Doors" (Utkir Hoshimov)
  7. "Lives Spent in Dreams", "Where There Is Light, There Is Shadow" (O'tkir Hoshimov)
  8. Drama "Sohibqiron" (Abdulla Oripov)
  9. "Ulugbek's Treasure" (Odil Yakubov)
  10. "Alpomish" (Uzbek folk epic)
