Students must submit an online application for partial compensation of rent payments by the 7th of each month.

Application submission is carried out as follows:
- 1️Get registered in the kontrakt.edu.uz information system and log in to your personal account;
- 2️Visit the "Rental Payments" section in your personal account;
- 3️V Click the "Submit Application" button and the application will be sent.
‼️ No rental agreement is required for 1st-year students for September and October of the current academic year.
For second-year and higher students, a lease agreement is required.

❗️️Detailed information about the system for covering part of student rental payments
1️V Who gets compensation?
- ➖ must not be covered by a dormitory. If there is a place in the dormitory, but the student left the dormitory for rent, then compensation is not provided;
- ➖ must rent a house that does not belong to him or his parents (legal representatives);
- ➖ must be a student of a state university, students of private universities are not reimbursed;
- ➖ must be a citizen of Uzbekistan or a stateless person permanently residing in the republic, compensation is not provided to a citizen of a foreign state;
- ➖ must be studying only in full-time education. Students studying in evening, distance, correspondence, as well as in joint educational programs are not compensated;
- ➖ must be residing elsewhere (at the district, city level) than their registered permanent residence. For example, if a student registered in the city of Samarkand studies at a university in the city of Samarkand, he will not be compensated for rent, but it can be paid to a student registered in the Kattakurgan district;
- ➖ It doesn't matter whether they are studying on a state grant or on a paid-contract basis, both will be covered.
2️How much compensation will be provided?
For each month:
- ➖ in the city of Tashkent - one base calculation amount (412 thousand soums);
- ➖ In other regions - half the amount (206,000 soums).
3️️V must have a lease agreement
To receive compensation, it is necessary to have a real estate lease agreement registered on the website ijara.soliq.uz, otherwise compensation will not be provided.
The only exception: for 1st-year students, rent for the first months of September and October will be paid without a request. From November, 1st-year students also need to have a rental agreement.
In cases where two or more students live in one dwelling on the basis of the right of lease, all of them must be stipulated in the lease agreement.
❗️️THIS IS IMPORTANT: Citizens who rent students to their homes are exempt from income tax for rent (Tax Code, Article 378, Clause 19-1). Therefore, those who rent out students do not have to worry about formalizing the contract, they do not pay taxes for this.
4️V Who gets it first?
- ➖ Those in need of social assistance;
- ➖ Exemplary and active students will be funded first.
❗️️For information: according to the rules, 60 percent of students of state universities living on the basis of the right of lease will be compensated. This means that if the limit is reached, not everyone will be paid from the budget. However, additional funding from the university's extra-budgetary funds is also possible for the missing students.
5️How to submit an application?
Applications must be submitted online by the 7th of each month. To do this:
- ➖ register in the information system kontrakt.edu.uz and log in to your personal account;
- ➖ Select the "Rental Payments" section from your personal account;
- ➖ Click the "Submit Application" button and the application will be sent.
6️V Grounds for rejection
If a forged document is submitted, the address does not match, or the application is not submitted within the deadline - the application is rejected.
The Commission will regularly compile a list of students who have falsified lease agreements and provided inaccurate information. Reimbursement of part of the monthly rent for students included in this student list may be suspended.
In case of refusal, it is possible to correct the error and apply again.
7️V Terms of termination
If a student is on academic leave, retained in the course, or expelled - payment is suspended.
In case of termination of the lease agreement or change of address, you must notify within 3 working days.
