Minister of Water Resources Scholarship Competition

❗️ A competition will be announced for the acceptance and review of documents of candidates for the "Water Management Minister's Scholarship."

✅ The scholarship is awarded to 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate students of higher educational institutions training personnel in the field of water management, who are active in research work, possess technical and inventive abilities, are winners of science Olympiads, occupy honorable places in various competitions, and have demonstrated themselves by participating in the social activities of the educational institution - 4 each, a total of 8 most worthy undergraduate students, for one year.

✅ The monthly amount of the scholarship is 4 times the basic calculated value established in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The following requirements are established for candidates participating in the competition for the Minister's scholarship:

  • - academic excellence and participation in scientific (creative) work;
  • - participation in industry conferences (competitions);
  • - Knowledge of the history of Uzbekistan;
  • - knowledge of the state language and at least one foreign language;
  • - the presence of at least two published works (articles, theses, or essays) on a topic corresponding to the field of study.

✅ Documents of scholarship applicants for the 2025/2026 academic year will be accepted until August 15th of this year.

  Students who are laureates of the Minister's scholarship, during their studies, undergo educational and scientific internships and internships in the Ministry of Water Resources and its subordinate organizations, and also carry out labor activities under economic contracts.

✅ Award-winning students, upon completion of their studies, undertake to work for at least 2 years at the Ministry of Water Resources and its system organizations. In this case, students who have received scholarships are included in the reserve of promising young personnel in the system of the Ministry of Water Resources after graduation, and these students are given priority in the selection process for employment in the system of the ministry.
