The Minister of Water Resources Scholarship has been established

The scholarship is awarded for one year to 8 undergraduate students who are active in scientific research work of higher educational institutions training personnel in the field of water resources, have technical and inventive abilities, are winners of science Olympiads, have taken honorable places in various competitions, and have demonstrated themselves by participating in the social activities of the educational institution.
The monthly amount of the scholarship is 4 times the basic calculation amount established in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The following requirements are set for candidates participating in the Minister's Scholarship competition:
excellent study and participation in scientific (creative) work;
participation in conferences (competitions) related to the field;
knowledge of the history of Uzbekistan;
knowledge of the state language and at least one foreign language.
As an exception, the documents of applicants for the scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year will be considered in December 2024, and starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, once a year, from August 1 to 30.
During their studies, students who are laureates of the Minister's scholarship will undergo educational and scientific practices and internships at the Ministry of Water Resources and its system organizations, as well as work under economic contracts.
After graduation, the laureates undertake to work at the Ministry of Water Resources and its system organizations for at least 2 years. In this case, after graduation, the laureates of the scholarship will be included in the reserve of promising young personnel of the Ministry of Water Resources systems, and these students will be given priority in recruitment competitions for the ministry's systems.
