On February 28, 2023, at National Research University "TIIAME" at the of “Land Management and Cadastre” Faculty with the participation of students, faculty, doctoral students, in cooperation with the British Council, "Pre-Test IELTS (paper-based)" was held. The international exam was organized free of charge. The main purpose of the exam was to determine the level of foreign language proficiency, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates. About 50 candidates took part in the exam. The event was opened by the dean of the faculty Narboev Sharofiddin, associate professor of “English language” department Guzal Eshchanova and teacher Marguba Khudaiberganova. They wished all the candidates good luck. The event was organized by the trainer of Professional Development Centre Guzal Eshchanova. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test, designed to assess the language skills of test-takers.IELTS includes 4 components of language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. The IELTS exam is taken by over 11,000 organizations in over 140 countries around the world.
