On April 6, 2023 there was organized pre-referendum event  in  Shumanai region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. During the event there were discussed issues relating the amendments to the Constitution, where groups of women and youth participated. The event was held at Shumanai District, the Palace of Culture at ECOTEX enterprise, with the participation of 350 activists and women deputies.

   The event was organized by  Deputy Director of the Research Institute "Family and Woman" under the Women's Committee, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Musurmanova O., Professor of  National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” , Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Ismailova Z. The esteemed guests shared their experience on the reforms carried out by the Head of State in the Republic with the aim of supporting the activities of women in different spheres.
