It is important to suggest that the current goals and objectives of the present time is teaching a foreign language. Regarding this, there was organized  "English Speaking Day"at university by the initiative of the “English language” Department of  “Economics” Faculty. The event was started at the main entrance of the university, the head of the department and the teaching staff of the Department met students with giftsby inspiring them to speak English. Students were asked  different questions in English and those, who actively participated in this process received various gifts. We hope that such events aim at increasing students' interest in learning English.
