Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will build a hydroelectric power station

     Three neighboring countries reached an agreement on the construction of Kambarot HPP-1  on the Norin River, passing through the territory of Kyrgyzstan https://kz.kursiv.media/2024-04-15/zhnb-kambaratagesproject/. Sadyr Japarov began construction of this hydroelectric power station on June 8, 2022. In January 2023, in Bishkek, the energy ministers of the three countries signed a roadmap for the joint implementation of Kambarot HPP-1 construction project. To implement the project, the parties will create a separate joint-stock company in the territory of Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the legislation of the republic. The share in the authorized capital of companies represented by three countries will be as follows: Uzbekistan - 33%, Kyrgyzstan - 34% and Kazakhstan - 33%. Each party independently determines the founder of the company. The parties' shares remain unchanged; the possibility of merging, transferring and selling their shares is completely excluded.
