The rector of “TIIAME” National Research University held a meeting for discussing the progress of ‘Hydromelioration” Faculty in the first quarter of 2024, aimed at achieving the goals of "Ranking 2024" plan. The main attention at the meeting was paid to a critical analysis of the results of publications at the faculty. The analysis and discussions regarding the number of articles published in prestigious academic databases such as Scopus and WoS, as well as the distribution of publications in Q1 and Q2, high impact factor quartile journals of each department, highlighting the importance of collaborative research efforts to increase, enhance the efficiency and strengthen research results. Besides that, there was provided explanation regarding the importance of collaboration with international and national partners within research projects. Such cooperation can significantly contribute to the quality and effectiveness of research, as a result of which the university’s position in the 2024 Ranking will improve.
