INFORMATION LETTER

The acceptance of articles for the international scientific-practical conference "Sustainable Management of Land Resources and Cadastral System - SUSLAND-2024" has commenced. The conference is scheduled to take place in Tashkent on April 19-20, 2024.

The  primary  objective  of  the  conference  is  to  bring  together  academics, professors, researchers, and experts in the field of land resources management and cadastre from Uzbekistan and other countries. It aims to guide scientists working in the  cadastral  system  towards  doctoral  studies  and  scientific  research  in  the interdisciplinary field of land resources management, land structure, and cadastre. Additionally, it aims to enhance the participation of specialists in the international community, strengthen the integration of universities and scientific research institutes, promote international cooperation, and facilitate the sharing of knowledge in the field of  education  on  the  use  and  management  of  land  resources  and  the  cadastral system.

The  conference  is  organized  by  the  "Tashkent  Institute  of  Irrigation  and Agricultural  Mechanization  Engineers,"  a  National  Research  University,  in collaboration with the following partners:

  2. Obuda University, (Hungary)
  3. National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, (Uzbekistan)
  4. Tashkent state technical university (Uzbekistan)
  5. Cadastre Agency under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan
  6. Philipps university Marburg (Germany)
  7. "Republic Aerogeodesy Center", (Uzbekistan)

The main topics of the conference:

In the field of land management and cadastral systems:

  • Sustainable land management;
  • Development of the cadastral system;
  • New trends and technologies in the field of cadastre and land management;
  • Professional and continuing education in cadastre and land surveying;
  • The  unified  system  of  state  cadastres  and  its  role  in  the  development  of economic sectors;
  • Effectiveness of reforms in the rational use and management of land resources;
  • Land policy and land reform: strategic approaches, planning, and management;
  • The role and integration of land reform in the republic's development strategy;
  • Formation of the land market and the role and tasks of the state within it;
  • Scientific and methodological issues of land resource assessment;

Application  of  geoinnovative  technologies  in  sustainable  land management and cadastral systems:

  • Regional organization of engineering in land resource utilization;
  • Ecological and technological condition of the land;
  • Landscape engineering for land use;
  • Geotechnical engineering for land management and land use;
  • Geoinformational analysis of regions;
  • Management of land resource utilization, including organizational and technical foundations of land development;
  • Land cadastre engineering and technologies;
  • Digital technologies in land management;
  • Use of GIS softwares in cadastral systems;
  • Integration of land information system with other information systems.

Cadastral system in sustainable management of environment and water resources

  • application of geoinformation technologies in water resources management and irrigation;
  • efficient use of water resources;
  • water resources and infrastructure in agriculture;

The organizing committee of the conference will accept scientific articles on the specified topics. High-quality English-language articles accepted within the framework of the conference will be published in a collection of publications indexed in the SCOPUS database. Selected best articles that do not fully feet the requirements of SCOPUS, but are of good quality, are recommended for publication in the scientific and  technical  journal  "GEODESY,  CARTOGRAPHY  VA  GEO-INFORMATICS" registered in the OAK.

Acceptance of articles is carried out until April 15, 2024.
