The Delegation of “TIIAME” National Research University successfully completed a Training Program at Keimyung College University and received certificates

Within the framework of the international project “Developing Educational Competencies”, representatives of the “TIIAME” National Research University delegation successfully completed a Training Program at Keimyung College University in South Korea.

The delegation included Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Bakhtiyor Alimovich Khudayarov, Associate Professors Guzal Eshchanova and Rustam Baratov, as well as Akbar Gapparov and Ikrom Avazov.

It should be noted that the international training program, held from June 21–28, 2025 covered the following areas:

  • Familiarization with the activities of AI Creative Education Centers and studying advanced technologies;

  • Visiting the Dalgubeol Women’s Resources Center to learn about best practices in supporting women in IT and start-up projects;

  • Practical training and close acquaintance with production processes at Korea Polytechnic Robot Campus and Hyundai Motors Ulsan Plant;

  • In-depth study and enhancement of the implementation of mechatronics, PLC simulators, and digital education models;

  • Learning and applying international experience to develop the activities of DEISC (Digital Education Innovation Support Centre);

  • Participation in meetings and negotiations to expand cultural exchange and cooperation.

   At the closing ceremony, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Bakhtiyor Khudayarov delivered a speech on behalf of the project’s coordinator in Uzbekistan,  Rector of the “TIIAME” National Research University, Professor Bakhadir Suyunovich Mirzayev and the entire team. He expressed sincere gratitude to the international grant coordinator, Dr. Sanseoug Lee, and all the organizers of the international program, highlighting the key achievements within the project:

  • Establishment and development of a Mechatronics Technicum at “TIIAME” National Research University, based on the experience of Keimyung College University (Responsible: Associate Professor Rustam Baratov);

  • Establishment and development of the DEISC (Digital Education Innovation Support Centre) at “TIIAME” National Research University, based on the experience of Keimyung College University (Responsible: Associate Professor Guzal Eshchanova);

  • Implementation of smart classrooms and digital literacy courses at the Centre;

  • Creation of equal opportunities by launching IT and start-up courses for women and female students.

Positive Initiative to Establish the DEISC Centre

During the professional development program, concrete plans and positive ideas were expressed regarding the establishment of the DEISC (Digital Education Innovation Support Centre) at “TIIAME” National Research University.

The responsible person of the Centre, Associate Professor Guzal Eshchanova, presented important initiatives during the training sessions, aimed at thoroughly developing the DEISC concept, studying advanced South Korean practices, and effectively implementing them within Uzbekistan’s education system. She also delivered a presentation and successfully gathered additional suggestions from partners.

The main goal of the Centre will be to develop digital education technologies, enrich the educational process with innovative methods, equip students with modern digital skills, and ensure gender equality through specific proposals and recommendations.

Members of the delegation expressed their confidence that the DEISC Centre will serve as a vital platform for supporting digital education innovations not only at the university but throughout the country.

At the end of the training, Professor Sanseog Lee awarded certificates to the delegation members, recognizing their active participation in acquiring international experience and their efforts to apply it effectively in Uzbekistan.

The delegation emphasized that the knowledge and experience gained will serve as a strong foundation for developing a modern education system and broadly introducing digital innovations at “TIIAME” National Research University.

They also stated that the university will continue to strengthen international cooperation and create modern educational opportunities for students and teachers.
