Industrial Internship

In accordance with the Resolution N. 11 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 8, 2024, a paid industrial internship was organized for 3rd-year students of the “Hydrotechnical Construction (in Water Management)” program under the Faculty of Hydrotechnical Construction. The internship took place at the construction site of the "Lower Chatkal HPP" located on Chatkal River in Bostanlik district of Tashkent region.
During the internship, students had the opportunity to integrate their theoretical knowledge with practical experience and to closely study the design and construction stages of large-scale engineering structures. They gained hands-on skills related to structural solutions of hydroelectric power plants, technical parameters, the use of modern construction materials, compliance with safety standards, and the application of advanced technologies.
These practical training sessions played a significant role not only in reinforcing the theoretical knowledge acquired in academic studies but also in thoroughly preparing students for their future professional careers. In particular, the experience gained through real projects at major energy facilities contributes greatly to their development as highly qualified and competitive specialists, significantly increasing their chances of successful employment in the labor market.
