"TIIAME" National Research University ranked among the World's Top 300 Universities in “THE Impact Ranking – 2025”

During the Global Sustainability Development Congress (GSDC 2025) held in Istanbul, Turkey, the prestigious international ranking agency Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of its “THE Impact Ranking – 2025,” which evaluates universities around the world based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It is a matter of great pride that TIIAME National Research University has made a remarkable leap of 400 positions compared to last year and is now ranked within the top 201 universities globally out of a total of 2318 institutions. Additionally, it has been recognized as the #1 university in Uzbekistan in this ranking.
The THE Impact Ranking system assesses universities based on their contribution to achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). TIIAME NRU participated with the following goals and demonstrated significant improvement in each category compared to 2024:

SDG 2 – Zero Hunger: Ranked #16 (2024: #59)

SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation: Ranked #201–300 (2024: #101–200)

SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy: Ranked #14 (2024: #81)

SDG 13 – Climate Action: Maintained its position at #101–200

It is especially noteworthy that the university has entered the Top 20 global universities in two SDGs: SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).
