Successful Negotiations Held on the “Green Deal Centers” Project Development in Central Asia

On June 10, 2025, the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" (TIIAME-NRU) hosted a virtual meeting aimed at advancing the development of the “Green Deal Centers” (GDC) project across Central Asian partner universities.
The meeting brought together representatives from partner institutions across Central Asia to discuss the design, equipment procurement, and establishment process of the Green Deal Centers. Participants also explored strategies to strengthen regional cooperation and support sustainable development initiatives.
The session was chaired by Sherzod Rakhmonov from TIIAME-NRU. Among the active participants were Dinara Jahinbek, Zakhari Reyna, Maksad Choriyev, Shakhnoza Fazlonshoeva, Ikboljon Bozarov, Gulruxsor Vanjieva, Kamol Abduvokhidov, Mergan Saparov, Saule Kamarova, Elegiya Bokayev, Edil Kanatbekov, and Rakhad Ray.
The main objective of the meeting was to outline the roadmap for establishing Green Deal Centers at 10 partner universities across the region. Key topics included project design, infrastructure planning, equipment supply, and long-term collaboration frameworks to ensure the successful implementation of the initiative.
This project aligns with the European Union's Green Deal principles and seeks to promote environmental sustainability, green innovation, and climate resilience throughout Central Asia.
