Educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy

A seminar-training was organized by the “Operation of Hydromeliorative Systems” Department of the “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” National Research University, in collaboration with Professor Paolo Tarolli and PhD Aurora Ghirardelli from the University of Padua, Italy.
The seminar covered the topics: “Adaptation Strategies in Agriculture under Climate Change,” “Techniques for Writing a Successful Scientific Article,” and “Monitoring Soil Salinity in Coastal Agricultural Areas of the Po River Delta (Italy).” Participants were introduced to international practices from Italy and around the world, as well as to current scientific and practical solutions in the field.
The event featured lively discussions, Q&A sessions, and active participation from professors, researchers, doctoral students, master students and undergraduates.
The seminar proved to be a great source of inspiration and valuable experience for all attendees, helping many take their academic journey to the next level. In particular, the detailed guidance on the requirements and rules for publishing in international Q1-category journals was extremely beneficial for young researchers and scholars engaged in scientific work.
