Applying theoretical knowledge in practice

In order to prevent water resource losses and improve irrigation networks, practical training was organized in accordance with the 2024/2025 academic schedule at the National Research University “TIIAME” (Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers). This initiative involved scientific staff, professors, and senior-year students.
Students from the following academic programs participated: Hydraulic Engineering Construction (in Water Management), Operation of Hydraulic Structures and Pumping Stations, Hydropower Facilities in Irrigation Systems, Water Management and Land Reclamation, and Innovative Technologies in Water Management and Their Application.
Together with employees from the state institution "Toshkentsuvqurilishinvest" and the private company "Shirin," students took part in modern concrete-lining works on a 4.2 km section of the "Kirsadak" canal, applying advanced technologies.
