“Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers”National Research University and Shihezi University of China are actively working on the establishment of a joint laboratory for "Intelligent Agricultural Equipment" within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. The joint laboratory aims to introduce intellectual and digital technologies in the processes of cotton cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, and processing, demonstrate these technologies, conduct research and continuously update them, as well as integrate production, education, and research fields.
On April 10, 2025 representatives from "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University with the representatives of "Agricultural Engineering and Technologies" department, Shihezi University of China visited the Boyovut district of Syrdarya region. They familiarized themselves with the demonstration field, where intellectual and digital technologies are being showcased, researched, and practically applied.
