90-anniversary of Glorious History of the "TIIAME"National Research University

On April 9, 2025 a grand celebration was held marking the 90th anniversary of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" along with the International Scientific Conference titled “Challenges and Opportunities: Development of Specialized Higher Education and Science in the Context of Globalization:
The event was attended by representatives of government bodies, embassies, international organizations, and the diplomatic corps, as well as rectors of leading universities from neighboring countries, scientists, and students.
Speaking at the official ceremony, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungirotboy Sharipov emphasized that due to the cohesive work of the university team, "TIIAME" National Research University currently holds a leading position in enhancing the prestige of Uzbekistan’s higher education system on the international stage.
“Scientific research, international cooperation, and innovative approaches to the educational process being implemented at the university are elevating our country’s education sector to a new level,” the Minister stated.
Founded in 1934 with the goal of training the first specialists in irrigation, land reclamation, and agriculture in Central Asia, the university was granted the status of a National Research University in accordance with the Presidential Decree during the years 2017–2021.
With 90 years of legacy, strong scientific potential, and continuous development, TIIAME" National Research University stands as a vital educational institution on the path of national progress.
