The "Friendly Tournament" has come to an end

Here we are, at the conclusion of the competition that lasted several days, with the teams from eight universities battling it out. The "Friendly Tournament," held in celebration of the 90th anniversary of the "TIIAME" National Research University, took place in Tashkent with teams from higher education institutions competing in two sports: volleyball and mini-football. The games were intense, competitive, and thrilling.
As we mentioned earlier, this tournament, organized under the slogan "Healthy people - healthy nation," included teams from the University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Economics, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Tashkent State Agrarian University, Tashkent University of Social Innovations, and the University of Management and Modern Technologies, alongside our own university's team.
The prizes, set by our Rector Bakhadir Mirzayev were awarded to the winners. The Rector personally presented the awards and cash prizes. In mini-football, the first place went to the Uzbekistan National University team, which received a diploma, medal, and 7 million som.
The second place was taken by the TSAU team, which received a diploma, medal, and 5 million som. Our university team claimed third place, receiving a diploma, medal, and 3 million som. Naturally, the "Irrigator" team, as hosts, provided opportunities for the guest teams. In volleyball, the TDIU team secured first place, earning a diploma, medal, and 7 million som.
The Uzbekistan National University team won second place, receiving a diploma, medal, and 5 million som. Once again, our team claimed third place, receiving a diploma, medal, and 3 million som. In conclusion, this competition was a celebration of friendship and unity.
