Eight teams gathered - it was truly a celebration!

Watching sports competitions is very interesting. The organization of a "friendly tournament" at our university, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of "TIIAME" National Research University became especially significant. The tournament was held among the teams of higher educational institutions in Tashkent.
The rector of the university, Bakhadir Suyunovich Mirzaev, along with the vice-rector and deans of the faculties also participated in the event.
In the friendly tournament, which started under the motto "A healthy person – a healthy nation," teams competed in mini-football and volleyball. The teams included representatives from the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Economic University, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Tashkent State Agrarian University, Tashkent University of Social Innovations, University of Management and Modern Technologies as well as the team from our university. In total, there were eight teams.
Two teams from Tashkent University of Information Technologies, headed by the rector of the university, Bakhtiyor Makhkamov arrived at our university.
Before the start of the competition, vice-rector of our university Ruzimurod Choriev spoke about the importance of the event and gave the floor to Rector Mirzaev Bakhadir Suyunovich, who noted that sports competitions held between universities help strengthen genuine friendship.
Then, the floor was given to the rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Bakhtiyor Makhkamov. Rector Makhkamov emphasized that regular friendly meetings of this kind would be beneficial. The rectors wished good luck to all the teams. Results of the competition were announced.
