As one of the traditional foods of Navruz, sumalak is often prepared in a communal, festive manner. With this in mind, students, graduate students, and even the faculty at our university are gathering to celebrate Navruz, cooking sumalak, sharing their heartfelt expressions. The sumalak festival, which has become a symbol of unity and resilience, is being celebrated in a poetic atmosphere.
What can be compared to the games, laughter, and dancing around the cauldron? Until the sumalak is ready, we are all showcasing our skills and talents together, say the students, united and strong.
