Within the framework of state programs related to scientific activities, practical research and innovative projects, a seminar-training was held by the scientific department to provide information about the "Women Scientists" project competition. Despite this, U. Sangirova, the head of the "Women Scientists" club, Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Associate Professor, has been providing guidance to the club members working on their projects in various directions. Currently, nearly 10 projects are being prepared by the women of our university.

The competition is organized in accordance with the 5.2 clause of the Presidential Decree N. PD-87 of March 7, 2022, on the "Measures to Accelerate the Systematic Support of Families and Women," which addresses priority research directions within scientific research activities in cooperation with the Committee on Women and Family Affairs.

As part of the competition, scientific projects that score the highest according to the results of scientific expertise will be selected based on quotas allocated across academic fields.

The main goal of the competition is to engage women in science more widely in our country, to support and encourage the new ideas and developments of women engaged in scientific activities in various fields of science, education, and economics, and to focus on solving existing problems in economic sectors and the social field through research-based products and innovative technologies.

Today, regarding the ongoing projects, a webinar meeting was held with the participation of Zulfiya Mirkhosilova, an associate professor of the "Life Safety" department and a member of the "Women Scientists" club, and Professor Z. Ismailova, the chairwoman of the university’s Women’s Consultation Council. The webinar included discussions, answers to questions, necessary consultations, and matters related to the submission documents for the projects being prepared by women in various faculties. During the webinar, the women scientists and doctoral students working on their projects received valuable advice and are now ready to submit their projects in electronic form via the online portal. The competition will accept applications only in electronic format from March 20 to April 20, 2025.
