"TIIAME" National Research University has installed the Smart Panel project as a pilot initiative.

The "Smart Panel" project, developed by 4-year student Yakhyobek Rakhimberdiyev of "Hydromelioration" faculty of "TIIAME" National Research University, has been installed at the university for testing purposes. This system dynamically adjusts the positioning of solar panels, increasing the efficiency of energy production.
The project was funded by members of the Hydroleaders team, who won the "Green Star" competition. Team members Yakhyobek Rakhimberdiyev and Ruhshona Abduhamidova participated in the "Smart Panel" project and won a prize of 60 million UZS. The majority of this prize money was directed toward installing and testing the "Smart Panel" system at the university.
The "Smart Panel" system determines the angle of solar radiation in real-time and optimally positions the panels to remain perpendicular to the sun, making energy production much more efficient.
The project is one of the innovative initiatives for utilizing alternative energy sources and is planned for wider implementation at both the university and industrial facilities in the future.
