While talking about the unity and friendship of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the poem of Koshkuprilizoda comes to mind involuntarily.
Indeed, the bonds of friendship between the connected nations will continue to strengthen. The foundation of a friendship built on mutual trust will always be strong.
Even with territorial boundaries, friendship is a feeling that knows no borders and is not limited by distance. It plays a crucial role in strengthening territorial integrity and further developing friendly relations between nations.
The leaders of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have agreed to sign a historic treaty on the point where the borders of the three countries meet.
During the trilateral summit held in the city of Khujand, a meeting took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadir Japarov. The results of the trilateral negotiations, particularly the signing of the agreement on the point where the borders of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan meet, were highly praised.
The heads of state emphasized the importance of continuing active communication and cultural-humanitarian exchanges between the regions.
It was stated that the state border line between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan has been definitively agreed upon, and this event was called “a historic victory of diplomacy and political will.” It was emphasized that the agreement was achieved due to the “tireless efforts of Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadir Japarov to ensure peace and stability in the region.”
This document, and the agreement on the point where the state borders of the three countries meet, is also noted to contribute to ensuring stability, promoting consistent development, and enhancing the international reputation of the entire region.
The grand unveiling of the Friendship Stela will undoubtedly become a new symbol of the growing good-neighborliness, trust, and strategic partnership between the brotherly nations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a historic treaty on the point where the state borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan meet was signed, and the Joint Declaration of the three heads of state was adopted.
This date and the Friendship Stela will surely become an emblem of unity and strength in history.
As acknowledged during the meeting, the monument symbolizes the eternal friendship of the three peoples and their shared future for generations to come. It was also emphasized that the borders should not divide us, but rather bring us closer together, serving to strengthen both our ancient historical ties and modern cooperation.
