The integration of theoretical and practical Knowledge

A group of scientists from "TIIAME" National Research University visited Sirdaryo Thermal Power Plant (IES) to conduct scientific research on fuel and energy resource conservation. During the visit, discussions were held on scientific approaches and strengthening theoretical knowledge with practical skills in the energy sector. The meeting was attended by officials from "Thermal Power Plants" JSC and faculty members from "Thermal Engineering and Energy Systems" Department of university, including Professor A. Nigmatov and other academics. Following the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the processes of electricity generation at the plant and the ongoing efforts to reduce fuel consumption.The research group continues its work and studies in this field.
