On February 3, 2025 a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev, devoted to the issues of strengthening the country's defense capability.
For strengthening any defense system, it is necessary to pay attention to the following factors. First of all, strengthening military potential. Modernization of the Armed Forces - equipping them with new technologies, modern weapons and military equipment. Military training is the constant training of the army and security services. Military doctrine and strategy - development of defense strategies. Secondly, economic stability. Economic growth, a strong economy support defense capability. Economical and rational resource management - providing the necessary financial resources for defense.
Scientific and technological progress. Military innovations - artificial intelligence, drones, cyber defense and development of new weapons. Strengthening cyber security - development of means of protection against digital attacks. Scientific research - support for new inventions in the field of defense and security.
Patriotic education - strengthening the national idea and patriotic spirit of the population. Physical training - attracting young people to military and sports training. Social stability - ensuring the unity of the nation and domestic political stability. Of course, international cooperation and diplomacy are necessary in this regard. Military alliances - strengthening defense cooperation with friendly states. Political stability - strengthening diplomatic relations in the international arena. Security agreements - strengthening security cooperation with international organizations.
By strengthening these factors, the state can further enhance its defense capability and ensure national security. At the meeting, attention was paid to these aspects. The report of the Minister of Defense on the fulfillment of the tasks set and the measures taken to increase the combat readiness of the troops, comprehensive training of units and subdivisions, providing them with modern weapons and military equipment, as well as improving the activities of the Defense Industry Agency of Uzbekistan was heard.
At the end of the meeting, the head of our state gave instructions on the further development of the Armed Forces and strengthening the defense capability of our country.
